Functional Requirement SpecificationThe purpose of this activity is to translate the client's requirements into a specification suitable for submission to potential system vendors. MethodThis activity takes a relatively short period of time since we have developed a proven template for such documents, and can tailor this to reflect the specific requirements of each client, based upon their User Requirement Specification. The Functional Requirement Specification is combined in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) with a template for vendor responses, which enables detailed comparison of these responses. DeliverableA document suitable for submission to potential system vendors, which clearly identifies their requirements and demands response in an easily interpreted form.
